ACTS Consulting Online School

This course offers 3 publications that assist the student in understanding about behavioral health medications. Offered is information about various medications, including a description of typical uses of medications; usual dose, frequency and potential side effects of medications; potential for abuse or dependence, and cautions or risks of medications, particularly as associated with the use of additional medications. Further included is information to assist a provider in initiating a conversation with clients on the use and benefits of medications management, and adherence to medications, particularly with clients who have a mental health or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder.

Course Modality: This is an independent home-study course. Students will take the course according to their own timeline. 

Course Completion: To receive the course certificate, each student is required to agree to Student Learning Contract, read all text-based materials, view any media posted, complete and pass course examination, and complete and submit course evaluation.
