Course Description

Course Description

One of the most important components of an addiction counselor or other helping professional’s job is to document the client’s progression in treatment. Each interaction with a client should be documented in the client’s file, beginning with the initial assessment reports and treatment plan and ending with a termination notification and continuing care plan. Proper documentation is essential to this profession for a multitude of reasons which will be discussed in this course. (NAADAC, 2017).

This was a good review course. I continue to not be overly comfortable about virtual learning, but I feel more comfortable as time goes on.
